Everyone who watched early PR knows that Dark Spector's costume is the same as Mailgore from the Turbo Movie. Obviously, this was a cost cutting measure. But I am looking at this internal to the PRU. They did mention it in "From Out of Nowhere". Where Divatox thinks that Spector looks a lot like her "fiance". Do you think the two are related or just look similar?

Some fans might say they are of the same race. Or that Spector is a successor to Mailgore. Another option is that Spector just took Mailgore's form. Spector is a shapeshifter. We see him take Zordon's form in "Astronoma Thinks Twice". So its very possible that he just took Mailgore's form to instill fear in everyone. Since Mailgore was a huge threat back in the day.

Tony Oliver's website credits Oliver for working on Power Rangers Samuari. Which seems to indicate that the new season will be called that. Although titles can be changed. Who knows if its just a temp title to call it something until the official one is out. But it still could very well be the new title. Getting used to the three word title is going to be odd. Not sure if the title sounds all that catchy. But perhaps they are trying to emphasis the Power Rangers brand name.

And reveals himself as being alive and well when he travels to the past. But it is never explained why he survived. How was this the case?

One theory is that the changes in the timeline changed things so that Alex survived. Its worth noting that Logan seemed to be his commanding officer in the first episode. In later episodes, Alex seems to outrank Logan. Another possibility is that Alex was healed by the same ball that healed Mr Collins.

But the timeholes show that too much changes to the timeline can damage things. Jen and Wes we're both from different times. And it may have been selfish to try to be together.

I say that them having to part actually makes their love story mean more. And makes for a good narrative.

During the first 10 years of Power Rangers, the show was shot in Velenica, California. From year 11-17...production moved to New Zealand. With Saban's buyout of the show...Some people thought that maybe production would return to stateside. But its already been announced that production will resume in New Zealand. Does this dissapoint you?

For nostalgia, I'd love to see filming return to Valencia. But it just isn't realistic. Production is cheaper in NZ. It makes far more sense to shoot there. It also allows them to produce a higher quality show. Since they'd have to cut the budget to shoot in the states. We are getting 40 episodes, so shooting in NZ is important. As long as the writing and acting is good...It doesn't matter where they film. NZ is actually a great place to shoot anyway. It is a good move by Saban Brands to keep production there.

In "In The Limelight" Dana becomes a model for a big time brand. She quickly develops a big head and starts acting like she is too good to be a Ranger. Until she realizes that being a Ranger is more important and goes back to being the normal Dana. Was this believable?

It just seemed far fetched for Dana to act so out of character. I remember thinking that she'd be under a spell when I first saw the preview for the episode. I was surprised when she wasn't. It was way too fast. All season Dana was responsible and dedicated to Lightspeed. I don't think she'd risk that for fame. Also her change back was too quick. The episode was kind of a fun filler. It just needed better execution.

Especially since it will probably adapt Super Sentai 2011 in 2013. Which is the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers. It would be perfect to bring back past teams. Of course getting all of the actors back could be tough. It depends on how many teams we are talking about here. But it does open up some interesting possibilities for the 20th anniversary. They wore Lost Galaxy Costumes to the ring. They were more of a fun opening act. I saw them at an Indy Show a few years back. They we're funny. They gave high fives to everyone in the front row and came to the ring with a lot of energy. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they we're fans of the show, It would certainly make sense.
During the early days of Power Rangers , the Six Ranger was very important. The debut of the Six Ranger was usually something to look foward too. Usually the Six Ranger was an interesting figure that really seemed to be special. In recent years it really feels like Power Rangers has lost this aspect. Six Ranger's no longer feels special. And their introductions feel more generic at times.

The tradition started with Tommy of course. Many would say that the introduction of Tommy as the Green Ranger, sparked the Power Rangers fad. Tommy would always come in to save the team when they needed it. He had a cool Zord that was as powerful as the others combined. Plus he had the costume that stood out with that powerful shield. Then you had the whole power loss issue. And the soap oprah that came from that when he came back. This kept the character fresh and made the viewers want more. Tommy as the White Ranger still felt special. And in October we should start to get MMPR ( the orginal version not the revisioning) and other seasons on Nick. So what are you're final thoughts on MMPR Revisioning?

Personally, I only watched the first two episodes. Since I just haven't got myself to sit down and watch it. I actually watched MMPR season 1 and 2 more then a year and a half ago. I do have the revision episodes on tape and dvr, So I will check out more of them. I might just watch the ones that come out that come out this week. Since its not like I don't know what happens in MMPR. I will say that I don't like the idea of all the graphic edits. Or the words during putty battles. But I guess I have to give it more of a chance. Still the idea of MMPR as it orginally was (on Nick) sounds better to me.

Which begs the question just how Karone was able to come back to life?I think it was part of a delayed effect of Zordon's Wave. Perhaps Andros love of Karone was also a part of it in some way.

The scene itself is very moving. Starting out somber and becoming joyous. I love how the their is little diolouge. Andros just brings Astronoma's body over to the stunned croud. The Rangers obviously upset that Andros has lost his sister. Andros doesn't say anything he just cries. This is good acting and the way things should be done in a visual medium. Nothing is said until Karone is magically healed. And even then they don't overdo it.
