I wouldn't say Blue Ranger's have become just comic relief. Dax, Max, and Flynn have been used for comedy. But we have had a lot of serious Blue Rangers like TJ, Kai, Chad, Lucas, Tori, Sky, Madison, and Theo. And really I wouldn't call Flynn strictly comic relief. I didn't include Billy or Ethan because they we're clearly brainy characters (and not comic relief either)

Billy is my favorite blue ranger. He's so smart. Aren't the blue rangers now not as noticable as they once were? Wikipedia said that they used to be the smart ones and then became comic relief. What do you think?

He came up with the plan to paint everyone on the team blue. I think he also thought of Zhane disguising himself as Psycho Silver , which was part of the same plan.

TJ was good as Blue Ranger- IMO a bit better than Red, though that could be because there wasn't much screen time for him in Turbo. Didn't TJ come up with a bunch of their plans for fighting the Psycho Rangers?

Plus, he was able to use his leadership skills in many situations. Andros looked to him for advice a lot, especially when they we're on Earth. TJ was good at battle stratagy and keeping the team together. I don't think he was officially demoted. It was just that it was Andros' ship and he knew more about Space. If Andros had jioned the Turbos as a Earth based Power Ranger, the situation would have been reversed.

Its funny to think of what would have happened if Tommy stayed on for Space. Tommy becoming Blue Ranger and taking orders from Andros would have been different. I don't think thats the route they would have went with though. But its still funny to think about.

I think I remember that TJ had it very hard being a blue ranger, since he had lost his position as leader of the squad. But he coped it well, and that's why I think he's the best blue ranger.
